Feedback Forms From Antonio and Andrew

Andrew had completed the test quite quickly. He ran the 40 metres in 5.03 seconds which is very fast, when compared to Antonio's result who completed the same distance in 6.87 seconds; its even better. Antonio claimed that his time wasn't of his highest ability because he had an ankle injury. Antonio's results are below poor for the 40 metre sprint, but I will have to give him the benefit of the doubt because his injury has affected his results. Also in this test it seemed that Andrew had put more effort into getting a good result.
When compared to the normative data Andrew got a good average and Antonio had poor. 






On this test was the feedback given from Andrew who is saying that this type of test would've been better if he could have done it other a longer distance which suggests to me that he would like to compare the two distances that he ran or just run for longer to see if he could reach a higher maximum pace because he was limited in the 40m dash that he did. Also from this test I think that the reliability isn't so high because distance is quite short and you don't have enough time to build up to your maximum speed as 60m is when you hit your maximum speed and 40m only allows a level of speed which cant actually be measured as your speed but maybe your acceleration but is known as a speed test. 















In this feedback form Andrew mentions that he would've liked it if he had more weight attempts to bench when he was doing the test instead of going with the weight that he thinks he can bench and leaving it as that and not pushing himself. I think that to also improve this test I will also try a different type of strength test. I thin that the reliability of this test was pretty high because its basic and allows the person to show how much strength they have truly. 











In this feedback form from Andrew he says that he thought it would've been better if I just provided some more motivation to push him even harder to getting a better result and therefore being able to give some self praise for doing so well. I agree with him because I myself don't think I did so well on the motivational side of it. On the overview he had given me quite a few good marks on how well I did being in charge of the test and how I dealt with it professionally.










In Andrews Sit and Reach and reach test which was a weakness he had said my ability to structure the test and friendliness etc was very good given the looked at results. Andrew only wished that he wanted to get a better result which shows that he wasn't pleased with his results which is why I gave him recommendations later on in the blog to follow to get a better result the nest time he does a sit and reach test.












For the wall sit test which Andrew didn't do so well in he had said again like the other feedback forms that I had done well in structuring the test and being friendly  as well as punctual. Andrew said that I did explain well what had to be done but alike to the Sit and Reach test because he didn't do well he had wished that he had gotten a better score.

Strengths of Andrew

1 Rep Max - When Andrew did the 1 rep max he could do 50KG but said that he would've liked more attempts to do the test. i think that for his type of body build he had achieved quite a good result. There was no normative data to compare this test to.

1 Minute Press up Test - I found that this was one of Andrews strengths because when compared to ta her normative data it shows that he had got a good result. He had done 47 press ups in a minute which is good. when compared to Antonio who also did the test it shows that Andrew had done much better as he doubled the amount of push ups in a minute that Antonio had done.

Cycle Vo2 - In the cycle test Andrew had done 13 minutes with the pressure being raised by one level each minute. He was motivated to get a good result and I could see that he put in as much effort as he could. From this test it shows me that he has a lot of strength in his legs and a good level of stamina to be able to last so long.

Weaknesses of Andrew

Sit and Reach Test - In the sit and reach test Andrew's flexibility wasn't that good because his joints are not that pliable. He only managed to get 6,6.5 and 6.8 which is below average, he also had a chance to warm up before he did the test which then means his chances of getting a better score were maximized and they were but he evidently doesn't have a good level of flexibility.

Wall Sit Up Test - The wall sit up test that Andrew had done wasn't good but nor was it bad. He had got below average in the score showing that his balance and lower body strength isn't very good. He had managed to do it for 60 seconds with both feet whcih is below average.


Recommendations of Andrew

The Recommendations I am going to make for Andrew is that he should do more stretching to increase the pliability in his joints. He can do this by attending yoga classes or by doing his own stretching sessions. I would then suggest that he should keep himself fit to maintain the good ability he already has because in the tests that he had done, the majority were very good.

Strengths of Antonio

Cycle V02 max - During this test and Antonio had done he had done very well and his results showed so. He got well within the good bracket when compared to the normative data. Antonio had shown that he had endurance and a good amount of stamina to last during this test.

Sit and reach - During the sit and reach test Antonio had done he had shown that his flexibility levels were quite good. He had a got a result of the following '13 16 17' which are above average and the last two results are excellent results, he had done the test three times.

Weaknesses of Antonio

1 minute push up Test - With the 1 minute push up test that Antonio had done he had a very poor score and didn't seem to put in much effort. He had got below 20 push ups in a whole minute and for someone of his age he should be getting much higher which suggests to me that he should work harder on his muscular endurance.

1 Rep max - When Antonio did his 1 rep max he could only bench 35KG which is quite low but Antonio's body build isn't very big as he is quite slim.

Wall Sit up Test - I found that this was a weakness of Antonio because he could not maintain a stable position on the wall showing that he has a low balance and strength in his legs. he only lasted 2 minutes and 33 seconds using both feet.

40m Sprint - In the 40m sprint which i could not find normative data for Antonio i think personally did very bad. i could compare him to Andrew who maybe a better athlete but he had ran the 40m time very slowly. he had got 6.89 seconds in his first run and then 7.13 in his second run.


Recommendations of Antonio

I think that there are a lot of recommendations for Antonio that he should do. The first recommendation that I will say is that Antonio should firstly work on building up his stamina and strengthen his legs. He can do this by running on the treadmill for a long time on the speed at 10 and the gradient at 1.5 for 10 minutes.
I will then suggest that he should work on building up his strength in his arms, he should do bicep curls to make a good change in his muscle strength and mass. He should start a at a weight he can do a lot of reps with which I would think is 6KG.
